HARDtalk: Jon Wolfsthal

On BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Tuesday 21 January 2003), Tim Sebastian interviews Jon Wolfsthal, Deputy Director of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in the United States.

North Korea has put the issue of nuclear proliferation right back in the headlines, and underlined the dangers being faced in many parts of the world.

Tim Sebastian asks Jon Wolfsthal what happened to all the grand promises made by the most powerful countries to disarm - and what lessons have the smaller ones drawn?

Notes to Editors

HARDtalk is broadcast on BBC News 24, Monday to Friday at 10.30pm, and is repeated Tuesday to Saturday at 2.30am.
