Eight finalists have been announced today by a judges panel, including The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters, the BBC and music industry experts, completing the first stage of the selection process for the UK entry for The Eurovision Song Contest 2003.

All eight entries will be played again on Friday 31 January between 8.30- 9.00am on a special show hosted by Terry Wogan and Ken Bruce and then listeners will have the chance to vote for their favourite song from 9.00-11.00am.

Internet users will also be able to listen and vote for their favourite song on the official BBC website - www.bbc.co.uk/eurovision.

Following the voting, four finalists will be announced at 11.15am on The Ken Bruce Show on Friday 31 January.
