HARDtalk: Jaffer Kapasi

On BBC News 24's HARDtalk tonight (Tuesday, 29 October), Tim Sebastian interviews Jaffer Kapasi, Ugandan Asian Businessman.

It's 30 years since Idi Amin, the former dictator in Uganda, expelled thousands of Ugandan Asians, most of whom ended up in Britain.

Since then, they have become one of the most successful business groups in the country - and one of the wealthiest ethnic minority communities.

Jaffer Kapasi was among those expelled from Uganda. Tim Sebastian talks to him about the thirty years since he arrived in Britain and what he thinks he did right and wrong.

Notes to Editors

HARDtalk is broadcast on BBC News 24, Monday to Friday at 10.30pm, and is repeated Tuesday to Saturday at 2.30am.
