Paradise Heights writer gives masterclass

Ashley Pharaoh, the writer who created the BBC's exciting new drama Paradise Heights, which starts tonight, is to give a writing masterclass at BBC Wales.

Pharaoh, whose writing credits include the Pauline Quirk series Down To Earth and episodes of Silent Witness and Casualty, will talk about his experiences of writing for film and TV, and how he approaches his work.

He will also talk about his new perspective on drama - he is the executive producer of Paradise Heights, which stars Tenby actor Charles Dale.

The masterclass will be held on Monday 15 July at BBC Wales, Broadcasting House, Llandaff, Cardiff, from 7.00pm. Places are free - just turn up on the night.
