15.01.04 Playtime
is coming on CD-ROM
BBC
Multimedia is publishing a PC games collection based on a range
of high profile children's TV characters.
The
Fimbles, Tweenies, Pingu, and Engie Benjy, join the characters from
Balamory and Tiny Planets on the PC CD-ROM.
The
title, available from February 27, brings together mini-games from
some of BBC Multimedia's award-winning children's software under
the Playtime umbrella brand.
As
well as featuring games for children aged two to six, the software
incorporates a print package and a video browser, giving children
the chance to enjoy a range of clips from each of the featured TV
shows.
Andy
Johnson, BBC Multimedia's Director of Sales & Marketing, said:
"This compilation brings together some of our best children's
products. It's attracted great interest from our retail partners
- software chains, independents and supermarkets alike - and I expect
it to be popular with consumers in the run up to Easter and beyond."
