BBC Worldwide appoints Head of Web Operations


BBC Worldwide has appointed Graeme Freeman as Head of Web Operations with effect from 16th September 2002.


In this new role, Graeme will maintain and develop BBC Worldwide's package and in-house applications, such as BBC Preview* - the business-to-business broadband application - and coordinate the technical aspects BBC Worldwide's web activity.


Gary Richards, Technology Director, said: "Graeme's expertise in project and development methodologies will strengthen the growth of our web operations. His background in commercial software development will also help to reinforce the customer service mind-set in our central technology areas."


Graeme joins BBC Worldwide from the award-winning software company, Alternative Business Solutions Ltd, where he was Chief Operating Officer.
