The Fimbles come to town
BBC Worldwide brings some new and very special friends to Mipcom (7-11 October) this year. Get ready to meet the Fimbles and enter their magical world of discovery, inspiration and enchantment.

Fimbles is the new landmark pre-school series, featuring creatures with a unique talent of finding things that live and play in a warm and magical environment. Produced by Novel Entertainment, Fimbles will join BBC Worldwide's portfolio of pre-school series, which includes the international hit programming, Teletubbies and Tweenies.

Joining the three Fimbles - Fimbo, Florrie and Baby Pom - on their journey of discovery are Bessie, the bird, their guide and mentor, Rockit the frog, Roly Mo the mole, as well as Bessie's baby, Ribble.

The series is inspired by finding and finding out, an essential part of every child's early experiences. The Fimbles live in an enchanted valley, a soft and happy place, bathed in a warm glow. Their world is full of entertainment, laughter and surprise and is a place children will want to visit time and time again.

The prime objective of the series is to stimulate children's natural curiosity and awareness of the world in which they live, encouraging them to continue to explore the wonder of their own world after they have waved goodbye to the Fimbles.
