BBC Magazines launches Disney's Explorer

Issue 1 of BBC Magazines' new pre-teen title Disney's Explorer is on-sale from 25 September with free covermounted torch.

Packed with fantastic facts, amazing photographic spreads, unique features, fun experiments and great competitions and featuring favourite Disney characters such as Lilo and Stitch, from this autumn's big Disney release, Disney's Explorer will appeal to boys and girls aged 7-10. It joins pre-teen titles Disney's Comic and Disney Girl, launched by BBC Magazines in April, and Disney's Big Time, which transferred to BBC Magazines in January.

Disney's Explorer is aimed at children who are full of questions, who love animals and are interested in nature and the environment, and who are fascinated by the weird and wonderful. It is being billed as the magazine with all the answers.

Priced £1.75, each 36-page magazine, priced £1.75, will be covermounted and the launch will be supported by a range of in-store activity and sampling in 1,000 schools.
