Triumph
for The Weakest Link at Broadcast Awards
Against
tough competition, the BBC's The Weakest Link won "Most Successful
International Programme" at the seventh annual Broadcast Awards
2002 last night. Pitched against Inspector Morse and Trans World,
the programme was praised for its impact across the globe and its
position as a key revenue generator for BBC Worldwide.
Other
BBC winners were Blue Planet for Best Documentary Series and BBC
Newsround for Best Children's Programme.
