Lead singer Thom Yorke formed the band Radiohead, with school friends Ed O'Brien, Colin Greenwood, Philip James Selway, and Jonny Greenwood.

All the members went to school together at Abingdon, and all still live in Oxford.

Achievements


Record sales running into millions of copies.

 

Additional facts Radiohead have been voted best act in the world at the Q Awards.
Where are they now?

Once Thom smashed his guitars and trashed Phil's drumkit. Then he realised what he had done, and apologised to Phil by taking him and his family out to tea.

Their name comes from a song on True Stories, an album by Talking Heads.

Still producing some great stuff, and touring the country.
