Delightful history! My ancestors worked in the mill in the 19th century, McKeowns from the Sion. Any chance there are records?

It was interesting to read a little about Sion Mill's history seeing that both my parents were born and raised there. They are Caroline Doherty and William McCallan and both have resided in Los Angeles since around 1960. I am their son and was in Sion Mills many times when I was very young. I was just there in the summer of 2000 after 25 or more years. It was a great holiday. My parents would love to hear from any old friends or acquaintances.

A really interesting article. My grandparents lived in Sion Mills. I was curious to know if the Herdman family were quakers? Many thanks.
