| Looking for Hartree family |
I am trying to find some relatives from my mothers family.Her mum was Edith Hartree and she grew up in the Dublin area of Ireland.She married Englishman Stuart Wilson and lived around Brighton England.They had children Stuart,Kathleen,Elsie and Audrey who was born in Eastborne and is my mother.
When Audrey was 2 years old they sailed for Australia. This is where they lost touch with the Hartree side of the family.After arriving in Australia they had another son,Malcolm.Approx.six years after this Edith died leaving Stuart to bring up all these chidren alone.
He was a wonderful father and did a great job even though times were often hard.
Other members of our family have tried to contact this family but with no luck so far as when Edith died they lost touch.
This all took place in the 1920,s so my job may be rather difficult.My Mum is 80yrs and in wonderful health so I would love to find her family for her.
hoping someone can give me some clues on where to start as those in Ireland who remember are probably too old or dead.
