Freezer Snaps

I saw your pictures of snowy Belfast on the site and thought I`d take some shots of my own on the way home from work.
This is the best from a bad bunch.

snow on the fields
quick snap on the side of the road towards Ballynahinch

I also remember the winter / summer you mention. We had a caravan outside Ballywalter that year. The children around the site spent the whole day in the sea and running around until midnight in shorts.
The adults barbecued non stop around the clock and "lobster" bellied people were plentiful!

The winter was as cold as the summer was warm. Major roads became ice rinks and school kids were extremely accurate with handfuls of snow.Poor bus drivers were like sitting ducks!

I`m enjoying the site, nice to see a few expats getting in touch too. Anyone out there from Thunder Bay in Canada?

Bye for now..... JJ
