Robert,
It was great to read your letter. We do live in a very beautiful country and as you say some parts of it are magical - you can even feel this in the air. I have travelled to many countries and seen great beauty also, but we are such a small country and to have so much beauty is astounding. I especially love flying back into Northern Ireand and to see the patchwork of green fields, beaches etc is lovely. I hope you do come back here soon with your family and I know, just like yourself, that you will receive a great welcome.
I just hope the sun shines!
Regards,
Elizabeth

It pleases me that you have carried the memories of Ireland with you for so many years. In spite of, or perhaps because of our troubled years here in Ireland, we are proud of our island and the beauty and peace that is here for everyone if they really want it. Our rich heritage and links with the wider world make this a popular place for a visit. I think I can promise that you will enjoy a visit here and bring some lovely new memories back home with you. Best regards. Rose

What kind words to say. It's funny that we take what we see around us for granted but for someone else's eyes to see magic and beauty and hold it so dearly in their heart. That is what magic truly is.
