14. Finnian’s Rainbow – Rosemary Brown

Machine pieced in batik fabrics with machine embroidery detail.

The block pattern is known as cobble stone which I feel is appropriate for this piece. I have had a wish for a while to make a wall hanging showing the many beautiful colours and illumines feel of the stone work in our many Abbeys.

Taking the time for a quiet walk around these buildings is never wasted.
