Log Cabin Tollymore Forest
OK you your place and miners - anyone been to Tollymore Forest Park lately ? Are there still log cabins there? This pen and ink was done in 1964 and drawn because I was fascinated by the amount of effort someone had put into making the interior of this hut so beautiful. All done with different sizes of logs. |
Tollymore Forest saw mill
Pencil sketch 1963
We'd explored the river, the hermitage, the bridge, and looked for foxes (never saw any) then it was a picnic beside this mill whilst the children tried ricking their ankles by clambering about the logs.
