Belfast’s Europa Hotel recently hosted a day-long conference
debating an Irish Language Act for Northern Ireland. Many distinguished
guests attended, including SDLP leader Mark Durkan, Sinn Féin
leader Gerry Adams, Language Commisioner in the South Sean Ó
Cuirreáin, and Éamonn Ó Cuív, all broadly
supporting a Language Act for the North of Ireland.
Lynette Fay catches up with Chief Executive of Pobal, Janet Muller,
and Rob Dunbar, reader of Celtic and Law in the university of Aberdeen,
who review the day's events and share their opinions….
