Step

Now fold the paper in half again and open up the slit so that
it points outwards. This will be the beak of the bird. |

Next, make sure the paper is the right way up (with the folded
bit at the bottom) and draw two eyes and a mouth. Remember to
colour in the paper inside the beak. |

Draw a bird shape and then cut it out, with the folded edge
on the bottom. |

It should look like this. You may want to use double sided sticky
tape or glue to keep the edges together. |

You can make as many different faces as you want. This one is
a lady with curly hair. Remember, the longer the slit, the bigger
the mouth. |
Your
card is now ready to give to your mate or your family.
