Nick Wilty will be representing the 'senior' comics with his effortless and self-deprecating style, combining hilarious anecdotes and observations on the human condition with tales of his globe-trotting experiences. Joined by East Ender Jeff Innocent, complete with his gangster persona, he can only be described as an adept master of the one-liners. He somehow manages to transform a stand-up routine to part history and sociology lesson, yet keeps it hilariously funny. Known for his ridiculous comedy, Markus Birdman, was inspired to pursue a show business career after buying a copy of Madness' One Step Beyond. Instead, he ended up in the army but was discharged and quickly went onto fulfil his career in absurd entertainment. The pioneering Asian comic, Paul Sinha, doesn't so much tread the tight rope of controversy as use it for a skipping rope. With an ingenious and crisp style he has quickly established himself as one of the funniest comics around. The Comedy Store performs at The Forum in Norwich on Wednesday 16 November, 2005.
