Kick-start your autumn by making a visit to the Comedy Store, when it returns to the The Forum in September.

The news season begins on Wednesday 21 September. MC for the evening is Tim Clark, one of the circuit's most skilful comperes. Tim's acerbic wit have made him a regular at both the Store and Jongleurs as well as a speech writer for Gordon Brown MP.

Tim is joined by Reginald D. Hunter. Hailing from Georgia, USA, Reginald now lives and works in the UK.  His slick stage presence combines with a storytelling style which draws from his RADA acting background.

From King of Cool, to Kiwi fool, New Zealander, Rhys Darby’s effervescent clowning provides a blend of sound effects, characterizations and askew observations.

By combining stand-up story telling with physical theatre Rhys has developed a truly unique style of comedy performance.

Addy Van Der Borgh played the first ever show at The Forum in 2002.  He has the rare ability to make people laugh just by walking on stage – helped by an enormous nose and great, goggling eyes.

His timing and array of voices enliven the most unusual of subjects. Addy was recently seen alongside Kirsty Gallacher on Sky’s TV Meltdown.

The Store's founder Don Ward will be in town to help celebrate the new season. He founded The Comedy Store in 1979 and has strongly resisted the urge to franchise the brand.

"The Forum is an amazing building and it's great that the people of Norwich are switching off their TVs and coming down to see us," he said.
