The Comedy Store

There’s more top international stand-up comedy in store at The Forum in April. Four global gag merchants descend on Norwich as the Comedy Store makes its monthly visit.

Kick-start your spring by making a visit to the Comedy Store, when it returns to the The Forum in April.

The evening’s MC is Mick Ferry whose easy, conversational style mixes affable chat and killer material.

A cuddly exterior belies a hidden cruel streak which he vents against life’s trivialities, minor celebrities and even his own children.

With the uncanny ability to pluck comedy material from thin air, Mick has become one of the circuit’s most stylish and respected comperes.

Comedian Angelo
Comedian Angelo

Canadian heavyweight, Angelo Tsarouchas’ Greek heritage provides a mix of attitude and character.

Angelo has been doing stand-up for 15 years and mixes that career with one in film, where he's appeared alongside Al Pacino, Sylvester Stallone and Denzel Washington.

His observational humour is not always politically correct but is always original.

What you need in the comedy game is a gimmick or two. Being half Philippine, half German and utilising a ukulele in your act certainly helps.

Ria Lina
Ria Lina

Ria Lina is a unique proposition.  Bawdy songs have established this cute yet scary 22-year-old on the comedy circuit and incisive off-the-cuff remarks and a desert-dry wit leave you wanting more.

The coolest man in comedy, Reginald D Hunter makes his first appearance at The Forum.  The American stand-up is the embodiment of composed confidence – and has been dubbed the Samuel L. Jackson of stand-up.

Natural charisma and intimate storytelling have made him one of the most popular and alluring acts around.
