I
find that using colour and contrast can really enhance a photograph, as with this
shot of Gulls taken in the spring. The blue wild flowers help to offset the plainer
white and black colouring of the birds. Early spring is more of a challenge when
the light is flatter and duller, and there is less vegetation so think imaginatively!
