The Xcerts

Saturday 9th July, BBC Introducing stage

Distorted Pop

The Xcerts are a three-piece from Aberdeen. Their debut album 'In The Cold Wind We Smile' was recorded in Wales and secured the band supports with Funeral For A Friend, My Vitriol, Fightstar, Feeder and Idlewild. It was greeted warmly by indie-pop fans and heavy rock fans alike, and a small fan base was building.

Labeling themselves as 'distorted pop', The Xcerts second album recorded in New York was rather more ferocious than the first, and they're happy to admit that not everyone's going to like it!

For everybody that does like it, get down to the Introducing stage for these guys as you can be sure the place will be rocking hard.
