Bluey Minisodes are coming to CBeebies alongside a special CBeebies Bedtime Story

CBeebies is bringing even more Bluey fun to families this summer with the free-to-air launch of Bluey Minisodes. 20 episodes of these bite-sized Bluey stories will roll out across CBeebies and BBC iPlayer from today (Monday 22 June), for even more laugh-out-loud and heart-warming moments with Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad.

The Bluey Minisodes are a collection of funny and sweet moments featuring Bluey and her family and friends. Across the full collection, fans can expect play, inventive storytelling and plenty of giggles, from retellings of classic tales like Three Pigs and Goldilocks to music and backyard games.

CBeebies Bedtime Story

To celebrate the launch of the Minisodes on free-to-air television, Bluey fans can look forward to a brand-new CBeebies Bedtime Story with the much-loved voices behind Bluey’s Mum and Dad, Bandit and Chilli. Melanie Zanetti and Dave McCormack will read We Are Definitely Human by X. Fang on Friday 26 June.

Melanie Zanetti, the voice of Bluey’s Mum Chilli said: "It was an absolute delight recording a CBeebies Bedtime Story with Dave at the BBC in the UK! My siblings and I were read to endlessly as kids, which instilled in me such a deep love of both reading and storytelling. I’m thrilled we get to share X. Fang’s funny, clever and heart felt book, We Are Definitely Human with families just before Sleepytime!"

Dave McCormack, the voice of Bluey’s Dad Bandit said: "We Are Definitely Human is exactly the sort of story I love. It’s funny, clever and packed with heart. The blue aliens are wonderfully charming and for reasons I can't quite put my finger on, I felt a certain kinship with them… It was a pleasure recording it with Melanie too, and I hope families enjoy watching us read this story together. If it inspires a few giggles, a bit of wonder and a smooth trip to bedtime, then we've done our job."

Bluey Minisodes will air on CBeebies from Monday 22 June, with one episode released each day and dropping on iPlayer the same day. CBeebies Bedtime Story with Melanie Zanetti and Dave McCormack, will air on Friday 26 June at 6.50pm and available on iPlayer the same day.
