This
360º picture was taken in Exchange Square on Thurs 17 June
during the first half of England v Switzerland game in Euro
2004.
More than a thousand people braved the Manchester rain to watch
the game which England won 3-0.
The Big Screen in Manchester is the worlds first public
space broadcasting service.
Since its launch in May 2003, it been 'on air' for tens of thousands
of hours bringing live TV to the public in a public space.
It has also hosted a variety of BBC events and live concerts
from Music Live and the Proms to The Big Read. |
