| I
was born in Caistor in 1932, and have lived in Australia for
44 years. I still miss sausages and pork pies but there is an
English butcher in Dandenong who we can get to occasionally.
We live in a pretty little country town called Maffra, in Victoria,
where I ran the library for 20 years. Every few years we have
a trip to England to see our families, they are what we miss
most of all. We could not live in England, we would miss the
steak, wine and sunshine, but it is such a lovely country to
visit. |

| Hi
I am Andrew an old Spalding boy now living in Tanzania in east
Africa. I am teaching English in a small village primary school,
the public transport here is almost as bad as Lincolnshire.
Miss the countryside, those flat fenlands. |

| My
name is Michelle Hachey nee Blunn. I currently live in Canada.
I am looking for my dad Thomas Blunn and his wife Christine.
I haven't seen him in 25 years. I did get in contact with him
about 10 years ago but his letters stopped coming and I want
to know why. I did send letters to him but they got sent back.
The most recent one that I sent was sent back by the new people
that bought his house last year. They wrote to inform me that
he had moved from farnsfield Newark to Lincoln. His wife worked
in the district council in the palnning department in Newark
and was getting a transfer to that in Lincoln. I have contacted
both of these places to try and obtain any information but so
far no luck. If you know either of these people or have any
information that might help me please contact me at miste26@hotmail.com.
I want to let him know that he has granddaughter. He didn't
get the chance to know me but at least he can do it with her. |

| Hi.
Andrea here from Calgary. Just wondering if anyone knows Rachel
Shores (left Middlecott school in 1992). Last I knew she lived
in Boston and I haven't seen her for about four years. It's
getting cold here and the snow is coming, lot colder than Boston.
Really do miss some decent fish and chips. |

I
really want penpal for my 3rd graders, they are simply mad to
write to children in England and it would be such fun what with
Halloween coming up here and Christmas. It would certainly take
their minds off this impending doom and gloom mess President
Bush is threatening with Saddam Hussein.
Lindsay is a 3rd grade teacher in Lompoc,
California and is looking for penpals for her class. If you
know anyone who could help, please get in touch. - ed |

For
those of you who are looking for old friends from school work
etc I can suggest a website that is extremely good called www.friends-reunited.com
Most schools and indeed work places are listed and it is an
excellent way of getting in touch with those you once knew all
those years ago! Good Luck. The BBC is not responsible for the content
of external websites. |

| Hi.
I was born and bred in Boston. Moved to Calgary, Canada this
February. Fish and Chips in Lincolnshire are the best, and there
is nothing to compare to Boston sausages. Anyone on here from
Middlecott School (1987-1992)? |

for a young boy called Chris - is your mum Sandra?? If so I
would love to hear from you! Can I have your email address?

| Hi
It's me again, thanks for putting my message on your website.
Just wondered if maybe we could start a penpal service for expats
through this website. I would love to hear from anyone who went
to Immingham Comprehensive school (I left in 1980) aged 16,
so any one who would've been in my year. Thanks once again,be
in touch soon. |

|
| I
was born and raised in Lincolnshire (Grimsby) but I now live
in Canada. I get very homesick which is why I find myself trawling
through these websites. Still, I'll be back there in the summer
for a couple of weeks. |
