| Lincoln
clubbing is pants for many reasons. First of all clubbing was
down by a 3rd on the last quater of last year meaning that the
industry is getting smaller nationwide anyway. Also, when new
venues do arrive they dont pull enough people, if we open more
venues there will be same amount of people going out but spread
accross more venues and so the clubs will look dead and inturn
people wont have such a good night. Also music in Lincoln is
far behind the rest of the country with even the rnb night having
to play "urban pop"...basicly its all cheese. Make use of what
we have 1st befor you start moaning about wanting more. |

| i
think lincoln needs alot of catching up on the club scene, i
think there needs to be a club/bar aimed at rnb and hip hop
im sure you will all agree with me it is growing music and lincoln
just doesnt cater for it |

| Clubs
in Lincoln are dis-appointing. It gets to midnight and the best
option is getting a pizza and going home! We need a few big
clubs, there is enough people here now to fill them. |

live in Scunthorpe and on the town highstreet we have 1 club,
and 2 clubs at the bottom, several pubs and now, when large
shops start shuting up, guess who gets there first for business!
PUBS! Isn't Lincolnshire the county with the worst health record?! |

| What
happened to Ritzy's on a Wed night, I used to love it when it
was Garage and R&B stuff in Pulse but think the DJ moved away
I heard. Still go there on a Thurs but used to like Wed nights
better, liked the Garage and Raggae stuff they used to drop
in. |

| I
have seen the list of new comedy acts that are coming to the
delph bar this term. I must say that the S.U are really doing
a better job there predecessors. Two of the very best comedians
from Canada are coming up, and the perrier award winner reginald
d. Hunter. I think that even though some of the events have
been off the mark, such as the wicked weekend, they have tried
to do the best with what they've got, which lets face it isn't
very much! |

| the
green dragon is a poor venue. we will start to hear about some
exciting new developments in the next few weeks children trust
me. i agree with spike nat, i am a personal pal of spike and
we have both studied on worth while engineering courses for
several years that our employers have paid for, so dont try
and pretend your intelligent because you study towards a sociology
or media studies degree my dear. the point is, how many employers
are after people with mickey mouse degrees such as yours? the
answer, very few. compare that to employers who need experienced,
qualified engineering staff, such as myself as spike, the answer
of course, is there are thousands of jobs nationwide. the job
market is crying out for bongos and spikes. we will see how
you fair my dear......... |

| this
is getting into a students vs normal people discussion! Let
me tell you, I work with students who come into the business
for a year. I end having to teach them things coz when they
get down to do the proper work, they can't! Anyway, I can choose
when i want to do a degree...at the expense of the company aswell!
so no debt for me! Woo Hoo! |

nic and spike. You're fooling yourselves thinking that you're
better off for not going to uni. Anyone who successfully finishes
a degree is going to have far more long term prospects than
you are. Having a degree in anything, is better than not having
a degree, because it shows you can reach a certain level of
intelligence, which you obviously can't. If you're happy where
you are in the employment ladder that's fine, ingnorance is
bliss, after all, but a lot of students wll be overtaking you
in no time at all. |

| young
adam, please tell us what it is you do. we're all dying to know.
i work all week and like to enjoy myself on nights out but where
are my cheap drink nights, pound a pint nights and 'tax payers
nights' in the local bars and clubs? the land lords should target
the employed like myself with money to burn, not you students
with next to none the new plonkers bar has bikini clad bar maids.
thats good |
