I lived and worked at portelet for 7 years , eventually working on the boats and deckchairs ( owned at the time by " denis " at that time in the 80'S . Portelet bay is my special place , it is where my heart is , it is where i want to be . I miss it every day.

I can really sense the presence of God at this peaceful spot in Jersey; it's a great place to go to clear your head and gaze at creation!
Rob
Lovely beach but in danger of being wasted as there are now no amenities here at all, unless you want to trek up the steep steps every time a toilet or a drink is required.
