Tracey Watson

The Jersey Clipper crew

Tracey Watson (29) is a Jersey resident, living in St. Helier. She has been hard of hearing since she was 4 years old. She now works as an IT Support Officer at Mourant.

Tracey has never done any yacht sailing before signing up as crew, but since doing so has raced across the Atlantic in the Tall Ship Race 2000 on the Jubilee Sailing Trust's Lord Nelson, and arrived back in Jersey wondering what to do next.

She looked at the Clipper Ventures website - and the rest is history as they say.

Her reason for doing the race? "It's the ultimate challenge!"

What will she miss most during a year at sea? "Having long soaks in a foamy bubble bath!!"
