She
is married with two grown-up daughters, and is really pleased that
her family are so supportive of her sailing ambitions. Ros has sailed
dinghies on and off for many years, but has only recently graduated
to sailing in bigger boats.
She expects that sailing in a Clipper 60 will be a real physical
challenge, but found the winter training in Portugal, much of it
in rough weather, has improved her confidence immensely, and helped
her find her sea legs!
Ros is delighted to have been selected for the Jersey
boat and is keen to learn more about the island, especially as she
has a family link through her mother's family.
