Leg 1: Liverpool to Havana

The Liverpool clipper at sea

Leg 1 sees the crews go from Liverpool to Cascais in Portugal in the first race, then after a short respite from Cascais to Havana.

The first leg is split into two races, the first running from Liverpool to Cascais; the second from Cascais to Havana in Cuba.

RACE ONE
This race goes from Liverpool's Albert Dock to Cascais in Portugal and is a total distance of 983 nms.

It is estimated that the crews will arrive on Tuesday 5 November after 8 days at sea.

RACE TWO
This race goes from Cascais in Portugal to Havana in Cuba and is a total distance of 1100 nms.

It is estimated that the crews will arrive on Thursday 5 December after 26 days at sea.
