Have Your Say

If you have any memories of the old wards at Worcester Royal Infirmary, as a patient or as someone who worked there, we'd love to hear them.

i am a x porter from this hospital and remember all the wards and ghost stories relating to the hospital

sue young, was ward clerk on ganderton ward castle
Now living in cyprus but very sad to see wards being demolished, although a old building it was a happy place to work in with uneven floors to fool students into thinking there were ghosts that made the trolleys move on their own, the beautiful chapel grand board room when the then chief executive came down personally to present long service and retirement awards and presents, although we all worked hard it was like being with an extended family, happy days!! I then went on to work at the new hospital but the spirit that was at castle street was not in the new building which only goes to say that is not the building but the people in it but in castle street it was a combination of the two. sue young

Eileen
Now where will the ghost of Tom Bates walk?
