The big British apple quiz

Around 580 thousand tonnes of apples are estimated to be sold each year in the UK. That’s the same weight as 46 thousand double decker buses. British Apple Day (21 October) celebrates the country’s vast and historic apple offering, bringing awareness to the risk of losing native varieties, as imported produce becomes more popular.
