the end of her first week she found herself working for John
Turner as part of the Sounding Off crew.
"The two things I loved most about being part of the crew was
solving people's problems and giving them a surprise on air,"
says Sacha.
"Hearing their reaction when they found that everything had
been sorted out and having a laugh with JT."
While John likes wild boar and fine red wine, Sacha enjoys fish
'n' chips and a glass of cider - but they both share the same
love of Bristol.
'Nerve-racking'
Whilst she was working on Sounding Off, Sacha was asked to present
the Sunday Request Show.
"I was so taken aback and the first show I did was such a nerve-racking
experience," Sacha revealed.
"But my nerves soon subsided when I began speaking to the callers
who love my Bristol accent!"
When not working at Radio Bristol, Sacha works at Southmead
Youth Centre as a youth worker.
She loves listening to music, shopping and spending time with
her family. |
