Chris Quick, played by Ben Owen Jones
Head of the CPS.
Chris would have made a clever police officer, but doesn't quite have the mental agility required to practice law. He settled for a career at the CPS after discovering he suffered severe stage-fright standing up in court.
Paralysed beneath the waist, he has hurled everything into getting his working life back. His sheer determination has been awe-inspiring but he cannot bring himself to accept his own limitations. As he retreats into a harder and harder shell, he pushes Annie further away.
