Cant believe the home kit is a total copy of Charltons home kit last year - one of the poorist kits ive ever seen ! Quality away kit though !How about totally white shirt with just the old rams head as the badge ??? Up the rams !
Dean Saunders is a legend !

I like the new kit. I think its bang up to date and looks smashing! I see other people dont like it but nothing can be perfect can it?
Luke

I agree with Paul, whats with the black stripe? Rams should keep the classic white shirt and black shorts.
Tim - Worthing

The new kit is awful, the black stripe down the front looks like an after thought. Terrible shirt! My money will be staying in my wallet! You can't beat the umbro shirt from the 70's with the umbro diamonds going down the sleeve, now that was a quality shirt!
Paul - Swad

Not too bad, get the ram back on its own. And why noy a bit of nostalgia with us reverting to championship style shirt. Come on board do something right for once!!!
Steve, Castle Donington

The new kit is terrible! lacking in imagination, quality and style. Also why is the Ram's head motif on the back so badly orientated? Looks ridiculous. The away kit looks like a Wimbledon strip. I've never felt so let down by a kit launch! Won't be buying either.
Steve Beardsley, Il'son

Kit No 27 1997/98 Is the best still got mine looking a bit like me seen better days.
Neil Marriott

Not keen on new shirt. Shame no picture of the classic Stimac era Hearts style purple away kit - coolest kit ever
Chris, Matlock

I really like it, simple and traditional round neck plus local sponsorship....excellent.
Daniel King

the msterial will not stand up to being pulled ,its too thin
bres

Like the new away shirt, home one is ok, best shirt is the Butka away shirt, dark blue with the light blue strips. Techno. Bein 19 the old man in me is sayin i dont give a monkeys what we wear as long as we get back in the premiership. !!!! C'mon u Rams
Darren - Burton On Trent

great home kit. shame about the lemon yellow of the away kit
nick

can we have a picture of the barcode away strip from the maxwell era please!? black and grey stripes, red shorts, red socks. my favorite of all time. shame we couldnt ever use it!
Andy Watson

The new kit's brilliant, but the best one is most certainly the 1972/73 kit(minus the blue shorts).
Raf Uzar

where is the patrick kit? It is definitetley the best kit derby have ever had..fact
warren moss

"Bobby Davison in the 1984/85 kit" - no it aint! that's the kit we had first season back in the first division 88/89ish. just before we sold him to Leeds.
Andrew Warwick, Marlow, Bucks

i can't see wot everyone is complaing about it for i think its amazing!!
ETHAN

the home kit is spot on but which colour blind idiot come up with the hideous away colours (sickly and murder to wash!!!!!!!!!!!)
sbh

terrible! it looks lie we have gone backwards. its sooooooooooooo boring. not even retro plain enough. it looks odd that the stripe down the side of the shirt isnt in line with the one on the shorts. its complete dullsville! no imagination, poor quality, poor design. will not be buying one til the new one comes out in 2 years! the away kit isnt that much better either, but at least it doesnt have that DREADFUL stripe!!! sorry derby county, you are consistently consistent when it comes to kits. Regards Steve Lowe
Steve Lowe

We should go old school, on the shirt design, you cant go wrong there.
Thomas Lowe

I agree with Malc of Riddings. I still have and still wear my Puma shirt. Derby haven't come up with a kit since that's as good as the Puma one.
Yvonne, Alfreton

WHERE'S THE BEACH KIT. OBVIOUSLY THE BEST DERBY KIT OF ALL TIME JUST ASK GRAHAM RICHARDS
TIM MILLS

Thanks for the memories of the shirt and some of the fantastic players ... pity you didnt include a picture of Eranio!
Niall

I dont care what the kit looks like as long as we get promoted
shaun askham

both shirts are disgustin ive still bought them though. We need a decent shirt desinger.
Alan Lewis

Think new kits are gr8.Both home and away have moved with the times.Went to away kit launch,it was fantastic, the players and manager mingled among the supporters and were all happy to sign autographs.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...
Sue

It would be an idea to revert back to the Ram on it's own, without the 'Derby County' underneath, as in previous years. Everyone connected with football knows the Ram is Derby. It looks more distinct on it's own too.
Lev, Allestree

I think the new kit is great. Really different and classy. I shall certainly buy one.
Denise

Surprised there are no photos of the Argentina style away kit from the mid seventies, most people around at the time thought it was really smart.
Phil Butt

Dont Like It - Want The Old One!!!!
Milly

I think the new kit looks "tacky", a sort of throwback to the type of shirt Crystal Palace would have worn in the 80's. The Puma kits took a lot of beating both in terms of design and quality of material. I still have Puma shirts that have been washed god knows how many times and are still as new. Compare this with the Errea kit where on the original shirts the sponsors logo washed of after about six months!
Malc, Riddings

Big improvement on most of what has gone before. I'm getting used to the stripe now. I think this is going to be a favourite kit before long.
Ralph Lauren

your havin a laugh the homw kit is great
ashley

I went to Pride Park quite excited that I was going to get my first Derby shirt, one look and I changed my mind... it looks horrible! Did the “designers” pin the shirt on the office wall and chuck things across the room on to it! Might still get the away shirt
Luke, Long Eaton

new kit looks dreadful, I recon there will be loads of stock available for the end of season sale !
Pete, Etwall

Home shirt looks awfull! The training top looks far better. Fingers crossed for the away shirt.
Karl, Derby

where are the 'patrick' (lovely orange away strip) and 'bass' kits (particularly with the rainbow?) of the early 80s?
justin, muswell hill

i love all the strips...can't wait to get the new one...i go to the footy in the full kit...home and away...can't wait for Brighton a week on saturday...come on lads!!!
djja

Come on, wheres the centenery kit? Or the patrick sponsored 1984 kit. They were the best. The new kits awful, but nevermind, so is Derby County's current set up.
Micky Sheehan

i dont like the new kit i think the strip down the side ruins it it would be a nice kit without the strip
jay kings

Worst ever? Don't you remember the chocolate brown kit from the early 80's? What a nightmare! Pity there's no photo of it here tho', just for old times sake :-)
Neil, Ilkeston

I THINK THE KIT IS OK BUT IT'S A BIT PLAIN LET'S SEE HOW THE AWAY KIT IS
JOHN - DERBY

the new kit is a poor design. Especially as the line on the shirt and the shorts does not match up. It looks and feels cheap. Nike, reebok, adidas or diadora would have been so much better. My favourite Derby kits were the umbro one in the late seventies with the umbro design down the sleeves and the Le Coq Sportif one early eighties (before the british midland sponsor)
steve, conor

I like the shirt. It's modern and I like the stripe down the side.
Julie

Typical Derby; not fit for professional football.
Matt

The modern kit is easily the worst I've ever seen the Rams wear - real Sunday league stuff!
K Frost

Not bad, lets see the away though.
David, Derby

its pretty good. Nice change of style.
alex dunn
