Darley Park was Cloughie's favourite place, or at least one of them. A staue of him somewhere there would be good, or in the centre of the town he did so much for.

Surely Pride Park should be renamed The Brian Clough Stadium. Whilst honouring Brian Clough it also has the benefit of renaming a stupidly named stadium. I mean, Pride Park!

Shaun Tulloch (number 6) and his "views" are a stark reminder of why we should remember proper Derby people like Mr Clough!!!!!!!!

I don't think Derby need to do anymore - In Nottingham we have plans for a statue and of course we have the Brian Clough stand. Nottingham is where he achieved things that Derby fans could only dream of and look on in envy. Perhaps we could do something at NOTTINGHAM airport (east midlands, this is, of course where Forest used to fly from to collect european cups? What do you think? Perhaps you could call the Derby end of the A52 'Brian Cloughs way to two back to back european cups for the red and white army'?
Ian
Why not go the whole hog and rename Derby as Brian Clough City or Derbyshire as Cloughshire. He has been and always will be remembered by those who knew him either personally or just as a football manager. The naming of the A52 is perfect any more memorials and it becomes tacky.

i think that we should rename the market place 'Brian Clough Place'. Then i'll be able to meet up with the lads there before going to the match....what an idea!!!

A statue should be placed at Pride Park where the main reception is, and something should be done where the baseball ground was.
Robert Smith
I feel a statue around the Stadium area would be fitting. How it would be financed is another question of course. I seem to remember contributing to a Steve Bloomer statue some time ago and dont think it ever got off the ground.
