Time to crack open a barrel or two! This is the start of the 28th Derby Beer Festival at the Assembly Rooms. To get things underway, Beer King Les Baynton cracks open the first cask and gets the liquid flowing.
A first rate Beer Festival, and very enjoyable!! I think the organisers should come up with a different opening theme, scrap the Beer King, and bring on the Fairie Queen, perhaps disguised as Rumpelstiltskin !!! Bill Goggins Bill Goggins
Annual leave from work, couldn't be better spent. Nottingham BF has more beer but Derby Assembly Rooms DEFINITELY has the atmosphere. Long may it last. Steve Webster
