A Russian in the Woods is the latest production by Earlsdon's Criterion Theatre. Peter Whelan’s critically acclaimed cold war drama premiered at the RSC’s Other Place in Stratford-upon-Avon in 2001. Set in Berlin in 1949, the play follows Pat Harford, a young English sergeant who is given charge of an army outpost.
