Greg James attempts the Advent Crown!
The Advent Crown is probably the most famous make (apart from Tracy Island) and has been made several times by different presenters over the last 60 years. Although we don't make it with candles anymore (fire hazard!!!), there is always an Advent Crown in the BP studio every Christmas. Who doesn't love tinsel? Greg James, that is who!!

On Blue Peter, we love to encourage people to create inventive makes using household items and the trusty washing up bottle regularly appeared as a staple object in the list of things you would need. So how did Katie and Hacker get on? Not very well - but well done for having a go...

From the 1980s - when wooden ties were all the rage, apparently - someone invented a Blue Peter version with sticky back plastic (of course) and cardboard. We think Jaymi did a great job! Very dapper...

Personalised bags can cost thousands of pounds if they are designer. So why not save yourself some cash and make a cardboard one from 1988? We wanted to see if Laurie Elle and Ben Black had what it took to present a crafty make...we think they did a pretty good job!
Ben Shires makes the classic football table
Ben Shires was given probably the biggest challenge - peg table football! First appearing on the show in 1971, this is a make that required a lot of patience and fiddly bits and pieces - as Ben found out! But the reward was hours of peg football fun!

We couldn't think of a more perfect Blue Peter make than homemade hair curlers for beauty vlogger Molly, who also tests how good the finished product is in her challenge. It may not give you the iconic 1980s perm BUT we think this a great idea for hair curling - as proved in this video!
HenryTMC takes on a 1990s football make
Blue Peter thought HenryTMC would be perfect for a football game make from the 1990s. He seemed to enjoy playing with it too!
