✏️ Do you know your Victorian school punishments? School in Victorian times was a pretty harsh place to be, with strict rules and even stricter punishments - some of which were quite inventive!
✏️ Henry VIII’s son, King Edward, had an unusual way of avoiding caning at school...what was it? Though a lot of his teachers probably were hesitant to cane him, King Edward couldn’t be punished anyway, with him being King and all that, so there was a very alternative way that he was punished at school...
✏️ In a Tudor classroom, how would you have spelled the word “Tudor” correctly? As there was no formalised way of spelling in Tudor times, you couldn’t really spell any word incorrectly! Even the most famous playwright of them all William Shakespeare used different spellings of certain words throughout his works.
✏️ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart may have been a fantastic composer but what would he most likely get in trouble for if he was in a music lesson with you today?
