Zapchat replies: A_cbbc_user: If I don't want to revise, I try to find something that can motivate me, like “why am I wanting to get good grades?” or something else. I try to study as much as I can, and remind myself that studying comes first, and then hobbies. Official Felicity Foxglove: Well met, A_cbbc_user. You’ve given me some great advice over the last few weeks! Hmm, I should find out what motivates me. I don’t think avoiding Miss Hardbroom’s scowl is enough, though. I know! I try to get good grades to become a great witch. That should motivate me!
Zapchat replies: Cloud topaz pony: Well met Felicity! Don't worry much, you're great at other subjects! Try different types of revision, not just looking at books. Try making flashcards or quizzes. Remember to reward yourself with a treat for every hour you do of revision! Official Felicity Foxglove: Hi Cloud topaz pony, thank you for saying that. Sometimes I worry that I’m totally behind in school, but you’re right. I have lots of other talents that can’t be measured by an exam. Like my Zapchat feed! It’s hard work keeping the school in the loop on the Daily Bubble!
Zapchat replies: smartdoggy: Well met. Miss Hardbroom shouldn’t be that hard on you, she must understand that you speed learned and checked on the wrong books. Official Felicity Foxglove: Well met, smartdoggy. Oh dear, if Miss Hardbroom knew I had speed read my way through revision, she’d be furious. It’s not exactly like cheating because I AM doing the work, but she would probably tell me it’s an easy path to a failing grade.
Zapchat replies: misspinkunicorngirl: Stick to what you know because even if you do get something wrong that is what you are in witch school for - to improve your witchcraft skills! So if you get it wrong remember why you are there. Remember - If you need help, get some! Official Felicity Foxglove: Thanks misspinkunicorngirl, I think I needed to hear that. I know it’s just one little test, but I was really worried about failing. I guess the only way to really learn is to make mistakes and not to be too hard on myself. If I need help, I should remember to ask for it.
Zapchat replies: charmbracelet: OK first gather some friends and get all the books you need and then all of you could revise together and have fun also you could help each other. Official Felicity Foxglove: Hi charmbracelet, that sounds like so much fun! Like a study party! I’m not sure I’d get that much revision done like that, though… I’d just want to take pictures for the Daily Bubble!
Zapchat replies: PinkDiamond12367: There's always the one person who cheers when the teacher says “TEST TIME!” In my class, that person is me. Felicity, my top tip is to keep your head in game. Don’t get distracted by your surroundings, focus your mind and you will always get top! (Like myself!) Official Felicity Foxglove: Well met… Ethel? You sound an awful lot like my friend, Ethel Hallow, I think you’d get on really well with her! I do try to keep my head in the game, but before I know it, the test is tomorrow and I still haven’t learned anything! Oops!
Zapchat replies: TYtroubler:Well met Felicity. My Top Tip is to write things down as it helps you remember. However, don’t use magic to do so as it works much better with an old fashioned pen and paper. Official Felicity Foxglove: Well met, TYtroubler. You mean… No magic? Just using pen and paper? That’s so old school! I love it! I used to have an enchanted pen for annotating my notes, but I always forgot what I had written. I’ll give this a go for my next test.
