Great suggestions everyone! Thanks to everyone who suggested that I just come clean and tell the truth.

(Thanks also for all the name suggestions. I decided to go with "Awks Monkey" great name CrimsonCrispyPrincess!)

My mum LOVED the made over bag and entered it into the Craft Competition where it won third place!

It turns out people love wonky animal stuff. We’ve started a whole new trend.

So that’s the good news....

The bad news?

Mum wants to do something to say thanks.

So she’s making me a hat.

I did try to give it a monkey makeover but… Well. See for yourself.

My mum has made me a new school bag and it’s really embarrassing! Should I tell her I don’t like it?

I think it’s meant to be a monkey or maybe a pig?

I can’t take this to school I’ll never live it down! Problem is, she spent ages making it and I don’t want to hurt her feelings.

Has this happened to anyone else? What should I do?

My mum is taking me shopping for felt noses this weekend (I think she’s making a hat next) but I’ll be back on Monday.
