Matt's Dilemma - Date Night
Can you help Matt with his Date Night Dilemma? Check out his blog below and leave a comment if you have any advice for him!

Wednesday 1st Septemnber
Most people agreed with IndigoViolaOwl and CrimsonBrightJedi that I should tell Lily I didn't go to the maths lecture. AzureViolinHawk suggested I should tell Lily that I don't like maths, and we could do something that we both enjoy. Well guess what...
Lily is awesome at Space Attack!
I found her in the school computer room playing it and she was great! She even gave me some tips on how to get to level 8.
We realised planning our next date will be easy. We’re spending Saturday afternoon at the arcade.
Thanks everyone for your great advice!
Monday 29th August
Thanks to everyone who suggested that I tell the truth about being bad at maths; including SilverKeyboardHippo, AmaranthDiscoEagle and ScarletPerkySnail. I was all ready to tell Lily but then she cancelled on me!
She called to say she had sprained her ankle blowing her nose. I didn’t know you could even do that, but Lily promised me that’s what happened. Poor Lily she sounded so disappointed so I told her I’d go to the lecture without her.
Except I sort of didn’t. What I mean is… I may have accidentally gone to an arcade and played Space Attack instead. Now Lily keeps asking me what I learned about maths and I have no idea!!
How can I make her think I went to the lecture when I didn’t?! Should I tell her the truth about where I really went? How can I ever go on a date with her again after this?!
Thursday 25th August
Ok so this is awkward…
Lils and I have finally got round to planning our first official date together. (I know, but better late than never, right?)
The first part is sorted. I think Lily’s going to love roller blading. When she suggested going to a Maths talk afterwards I thought she was joking. I didn’t realise she meant it!
Now I’m stuck listening to some old dude talk about sums all night. I don’t even understand the poster… How am I going to understand the talk?!

Look I don’t want to let Lily down but no way am I letting her see how bad I am at maths.
What should I do?
