Lily's Dilemma - Swimming Disaster

Thanks to everyone who voted that I should try out for the team! I took your advice and went for it.

Jas didn’t even mind in the end… The captain saw her brilliant costume and now she’s official team designer so she’s happy.

In case you were wondering, I didn’t make the team- Rufus’ pike somersaults were just too good. I’m happy for him though.

I'm thinking of trying something else now… Water polo anyone?

I cannot believe what just happened!

I decided to take VioletChattyPelican and SilverMusicGirl's advice and give synchronised swimming a try. At first it was everything I’d feared; Jas nearly drowned poor Rufus and got banned from the pool for a week.

Then something weird happened... With Jas gone I kind of enjoyed myself. It turns out that Rufus and I are pretty good!

We’ve been invited to try out for the school synchronised swimming team! :O Problem is I think Jas would be really upset that I got asked and not her.

Should I try out for the team, knowing how much it will hurt my friend?

Can anyone hold their breath underwater?

Help! I’ve let Jas talk me in to joining Synchronised Swimming Club. I can’t think of anything worse, I can’t swim to music! And Jas’ co-ordination is even worse.

But look, she’s even made us matching costumes...

How could I say no?

To make matters worse we’ve been stuck with Rufus for our first practice! He’ll be even worse than us.

What should I do? Should I try and get out of it, or give it a try?
