Help Holly - Breakup

Can you help Holly with this dilemma about breaking up?

Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: Eva: hey holly, Me and my friends always fight and say things we don't mean but when we say sorry to each other we burst out laughing and hug each other so its fine if u and Amy argue one time. Holly Hobbie: Hey Eva. It’s so nice to laugh and hug after an argument. I can’t tell you how great it was to hug Amy when we made up!
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: U17699536: Hi holly me and my friend are always are fighting please help me. Holly Hobbie: Hey U17699536. I’m sorry to hear you and your friend are always fighting. It sounds like you might need some space and then talk calmly with each other to figure out why you’re always fighting. Hope it works out like it did with me and Amy.
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemmas: Angel: You will always go through fights with friends She will apologize soon don't worry Angel. Holly Hobbie: Hey Angel. Thank you for your advice. It was me that needed to apologise first to Amy. I’m so glad we're friends again!
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: Super Cupcake Artist:Hi Holly Sometimes you just don't know when it's time to apologize you just have to follow your heart. Then sometimes you decide to much has happened to move on from and you can make new friends, like Taylor. Holly Hobbie: Hey Super Cupcake Artist. You’re right, sometimes you just know the right time in you heart to apologise. Tyler did step up his friendship when he saw I was upset about my breakup with Amy. He said he thought I was amazing!
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: Ciara: Hey Hollie, I deal with breakups and makeups all the time. The best advice I can give you is to give them and yourself sometime and space. They'll come round eventually. I know things can seem bad right now, but I promise they will get better. Holly Hobbie: Hey Ciara. That is some great advice! In fact, I’m going to give others the same advice. Space always help you to realise whether you’ve done something wrong and can then make up with your friend when the time is right. It’s hard to see when things will get better but they really do.
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: Joy: Hi Holly, I think knowing when to apologise is one of the hardest things because it means admitting that you were wrong. Me and my friend had been having quite a few arguments about really little things. We stopped talking for a while and I calmed down a bit. I realised that I really valued our friendship and I'd been over reacting about some things and I then apologised. So overall I think you know to apologise when you feel truly sorry and you've calmed down. Sometimes this might take a little longer than you want but in the long run things become way better. Holly Hobbie: Hey Joy! Great advice! This is so helpful. Time and space is what I needed and knowing the value of my friendship with Amy was so important.
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: karatekid1503: hi holly! thank you for responding to my last comment, it really means a lot for my confidence! anyways, one person in my class was being ignorant and rude and every time i spoke up, i was made to think i was always in the wrong. to this day i have an issue where i keep saying sorry when not needed and i am struggling to find a way to break that habit. but i feel as though i make people the opposite of happy, which is most certainly not my intension. but as i have moved to secondary school, my bestfriend moved away. it has been hard, but i am slowly making new bonds and friendships. Holly Hobbie: Hey karatekid1503. You’re welcome! I’m glad your confidence is growing. I’m sorry to hear about your experiences and hope you can speak to someone you trust about it, like friends, family or a teacher. I’m so happy to hear you are making new bonds and friendships – keep at it! I certainly have made a new great friend in Piper.
Holly Hobbie Help Holly dilemma: U17740620 Hi Holly, I know sometimes it seems like it's the other person's fault, but I have learned (from experience) that if you really are friends with someone then you should apologize even if it feels like they're in the wrong. Otherwise if they don't apologize, and you don't apologize then your friendship could be ruined over something that doesn't really matter. I mean, when you're an adult you probably won't even remember the argument or what it was about! Holly Hobbie: Hey U17740620. Thank you for your advice. Friendships and apologies can sometimes be so complicated. If only we could find a way to simplify! It’s always the best thing to speak to your friend – both Amy and I apologized to each other in the end.
