Young Fundraiser of the Year Award 2023

Do you know someone under 18 who has gone above and beyond fundraising for BBC Children in Need? The Young Fundraiser of the Year Award 2023 recognises and celebrates their efforts.

Applications for Young Fundraiser of the Year 2023 have now closed. 

The Sir Terry Wogan Young Fundraiser of the Year Award is a chance to say a huge thank you to the young people that support BBC Children in Need and make a big difference to other children’s lives.

We’re looking for incredible individuals, glorious groups, or outstanding organisations that have done something extra special for BBC Children in Need and we want your nominations!

Do you know a fabulous fundraiser?

Did they have a super creative fundraising idea, put in a huge amount of effort to succeed with their fundraising, or inspire lots of people to get involved? Perhaps they overcame a challenge of their own when they were fundraising. We’re looking for kids who have gone that extra mile for BBC Children in Need!

You can nominate yourself as well as other people, so don't be shy about sharing your own fantastic fundraising efforts with us.

If you know an individual or group who you think deserves this fantastic award, or would like to tell us why you would be a great person to win the Sir Terry Wogan Young Fundraiser of the Year Award, please send us your nomination using this form.

You will need a parent or guardian to help you fill in the nomination form, and they must read the Sir Terry Wogan Young Fundraiser of the Year Award 2023 Terms as well as the Sir Terry Wogan Young Fundraiser of the Year Award 2023 Privacy Notice before entering. Please note that you must get permission from the parent or guardian of the person you are nominating, as well as permission from your own parent or guardian.

Nominations for the Young Fundraiser of the Year Award are open Friday 22nd September 2023 at 9am and close on Sunday 15th October 2023 at 11pm.

The winner or winners will have the chance to receive the Sir Terry Wogan Young Fundraiser of the Year Award 2023 at a presentation filmed by the BBC and shown on the BBC Children in Need Appeal Show on BBC One on Friday the 17th of November. They will also be invited to the filming of Blue Peter.
