This week, Post of the Week has been awarded to Faye, 10, from Yorkshire. Faye had lots of jar lids left over from another project, but rather than throw them away, she decided to make a fun Christmas decoration from them - lid snowmen!
Faye added three magnets to the back of the snowmen's heads, to use them as fridge magnets. To fix the two lids together Faye asked a grown-up to help drill holes in the edges of the lids, so the two lids could be tied together with ribbon.
We like the colourful lids Faye has used, this purple edge is particularly eye-catching!
Faye even kindly sent instructions showing how to make the snowmen. She has done a great job replicating the carrots and buttons on the snowmen, and the googly eyes are a fun touch. Well done Faye!
