This week, Post of the Week is something a little different - a superb stop-motion animation sent in by Will, age 10, from Bedfordshire!
It shows a modelling clay character building a Blue Peter ship, who then takes it to the water to set sail.
By our count, the animation is made up of 367 individual pictures, which must have taken a lot of patience! It even features sound effects, and the original BP theme tune. We're very impressed Will! A Blue badge well earned.
We love the great variety of creative camera angles. Will is a Film Director in the making!
The BP ship and the modelling clay character are super makes in their own right!
Will also did a great job decorating his set with hand-drawn backgrounds. Fantastic work!
