This week, Post of the Week has been awarded to sisters Abbie, 10, and Ellie, 8, from Shropshire. They are both very passionate about the environment and have been very busy tidying their school playground and gardens. They have also made a 'Plastic Promise' to use reusable water bottles and to avoid using plastic cutlery.
As if that wasn't achievement enough, they also created these two bird nests by recycling two plastic bottles. Inspiring work Abbie and Ellie!

The nests have been made from the top end and bottom end of two large bottles, with pipe cleaner handles added, and then lovingly decorated,

The nests feature pink tissue paper inside for bedding. The wooden letter blocks and decorative mushrooms are fun additions that you don't normally get on a bird box!

The orange and green colour scheme looks amazing! We love the decorative cuts and bends to the top part of the bottle, to create an interesting roof shape. The nests also feature decorative ladybirds.
Send in your creations!
